For 19 years, he has been a booking agent, celebrity event planner/producer, brand marketer, digital media producer (music, motion picture & internet content), music video treatment writer, actor, radio show personality and professional DJ. "Shout!", nicknamed for how "aggressively passionate" he speaks, offers a wealth of valued entertainment industry connections and is well respected among his peers throughout the nation. He has developed an impressive roster of personal contacts and an extensive list of clients, which include Fortune 500 corporations. He has produced exclusive events and maintains relationships with premiere nightclubs and venues across the globe. His extensive knowledge of brand marketing, venue promotion, event production, and customer service is the combined driving force behind In Ya! He has amassed a diverse client & consumer database, with a comprehensive message distribution network that reaches thousands of professional people. From this database, In Ya! developed a consistent, loyal following and has increased its visibility in major urban markets.
Jamel is a graduate of Colgate University, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Art Studio (Innovative Production), Art History (Creative Thinking & Theory) and Theater (Acting & Directing). After graduating, he was an assistant account executive in technology and entertainment public relations for Mindstorm Communications. He then fine-tuned his publicity savvy with a 7-month stint at Citigate Dewe Rogerson as an account executive in the financial communications & technology public relations group. His diverse professional background includes creating strategic visibility campaigns for film, television, theater, home entertainment, consumer products, major and independent record label clients.
